Graham Statement Following Briefing By House Oversight And Judiciary Chairmen Comer And Jordan
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement following a briefing from House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Kentucky) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
“Today Senate Republicans received a detailed briefing from House Oversight Chairman Comer and House Judiciary Chairman Jordan regarding their Biden corruption investigation. Their presentation on Hunter Biden’s business activities with foreign governments was compelling.
“It appears multiple banks issued suspicious activity reports around wire transfers into Biden family accounts from foreign entities. Information on the laptop, which has since been verified, suggests Hunter Biden may have paid many of then-Vice President Biden’s personal bills. Their briefing was thorough, professional and highlights how much suspicious activity by Hunter Biden and his network has gone uninvestigated and unreported.
“House investigators must continue to follow the facts and evidence. Time will tell if the impeachment inquiry should result in formal action by the House.
“Ultimately, this is a matter for the House, but I completely support the appropriate committees as they continue to ask questions, gather evidence and follow the facts.
“How this turns out, I don’t know. But it needs to be investigated.”
