WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) made this statement after his meeting yesterday with President Donald Trump’s nominee to be the next Secretary of State of the United States, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida).

Graham is currently the ranking member of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs which has jurisdiction over the budget for the U.S. Department of State.

“I had a great meeting with Senator Marco Rubio, President Trump’s nominee to be our next Secretary of State. Marco is the best man for the job, and he will work with President Trump to restore order and balance to the world.”
